About this App

The Peapod Pal app is an intuitive audio reader that helps young learners along their journey of learning English. A complete recording of the Peapod Readers series may be accessed from the Peapod Pal CEFR Pre-A1 and Peapod Pal CEFR A1 apps. The recordings are clear and accurate, and they comply with the standards of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). 

Designed by Sasbadi Online, the app is a practical and convenient solution that not only helps young learners build their listening and speaking skills, it also empowers parents and teachers as they guide them through the learning process. The recordings can easily be played via 2 available modes in the app – the “Scanning” and “Auto Reading” modes. 

To use the Scanning mode, simply: 

1. Open the app and select the “Scanning” mode 
2. Point your camera on the physical cover of the Peapod Readers book you want to read 
3. Point your camera on the page you are reading 
4. Tap on the lines you wish to have the recording read out 
5. Listen to the recording 

To use the Auto Reading mode, simply: 

1. Open the app and select the “Auto Reading” mode 
2. Select the book title and the page you wish to have the recording read out 
3. Listen to the recording
